If you've shopped for SDC season passes, there's no doubt that you've felt a little overwhelmed trying to compare all of the options. One thing that always gets a little confusing is the bring-a-friend passes.
Here's the deal...if you buy your season passes EARLY...like in October the year before they're valid, you get extra days to bring a friend. The number of days that you get, depends on which level of season pass you purchase--and when you buy it.

Silver Season Passholders
If a silver season pass is purchased on pre-order by October 31 (prior year), it comes with 3 free bring-a-friend days available during select date ranges.
1 FREE guest between March 28 and May 10
1 FREE guest between May 28 and June 7
1 FREE guest between August 5 and August 18
You won't be able to bring a guest during the fall or Christmas celebrations with the silver season pass bring-a-guest days and you won't receive any free guest days if you purchase your pass after October 31.
However, we've seen them extend this date through the end of the year on occasion.

Gold Season Passholders
Gold season passholders can bring a guest (for free) up to 5 times per year. These bring-a-friend days are available during select dates, meaning that you can bring one guest one time during each date range.

As a gold passholder in 2024, you will also be able to purchase 1 discounted ticket per day for $40 (regular $85).
Diamond Season Passholders
The top tier of season passholders get 6 free bring-a-friend days during select dates, plus 2 bring-a-friend days to the WhiteWater waterpark and 1 ANY DATE bring-a-friend day, making it the most flexible option for bringing guests.

As a Diamond member in 2024, you can also purchase 1 discounted guest pass per day at $20 ($65 savings).
So now that most theme parks use mobile apps, you'll need a way to stay plugged in. These convenient little pocket-sized chargers do the trick. You can either recharge these at home or swap them out for a freshly charged rod. Good news...you'll find a swap station inside Silver Dollar City so you can replace your fuelrod as many times as you need to.

Can adults use the SDC season pass guest tickets for their kids?
Yes. Some parents may find savings by purchasing season passes for the adults only in their group. This allows each season pass holder to use a guest pass for one child each during specified dates. So, with 2 Diamond Season Passes, a family of 4 can go to the park 6 or 7 times for $510 using guest tickets for the kids. That beats paying $340 each visit or $540 for all each family member to get their own Diamond Season Pass.
Can you use multiple guest tickets at SDC on one day?
The bring-a-friend tickets can only be used for one guest per date range. However, Diamond Season passholders can also use their 1 free guest ticket any date in addition to redeeming one of their date-specific bring-a-friend tickets. This allows Diamond passholders to potentially bring up to 2 guests for free. Keep in mind that additional tickets are only $20 for Diamond season passholders, so you could potentially bring up to 3 guests per passholder for just $20.
Do you have to be present for someone to use my bring-a-friend tickets to SDC?
Yes, you must enter the park with the guest for bring-a-friend and guest tickets.
Do the 8 bring-a-friend tickets include WhiteWater Waterpark?
No, only 6 bring-a-friend tickets apply to the Silver Dollar City Park and the other 2 are applicable for the waterpark. Season passholders get full access to WhiteWater, so if you plan to be at the waterpark all summer, a season pass for each kid might be a better option for you.
