Main Street Coffee Trail in Arkansas
Have you ever heard of a coffee trail? It’s kind of like a wine trail, but with coffee! With this coffee trail, though—there are three criteria that must be met:
It’s gotta be on a Main Street in Arkansas
Locally owned and operated
The main attraction is the coffee
And the creators of Main Street Coffee Trail even made an interactive Google map for coffee connoisseurs to find their brew more easily no matter where you’re at! Check it out for yourself to see what gems you’ll find in the Ozarks and beyond.
Here’s where to get great coffee in the Northwest Arkansas region, concentrated in Eureka Springs, AR:
Eureka Daily Roast: 27 Spring St, Eureka Springs, AR 72632
Nibbles Eatery: 79 Spring St, Eureka Springs, AR 72632
Eureka Springs Coffee House: 11 N Main St, Eureka Springs, AR 72632
Siloam Springs and Prairie Grove (near Fayetteville) are two other NWA Ozark towns that are featured on the Main Street Coffee Trail.
Bean Me Up in Eureka Springs, Arkansas
Okay, so Eureka Springs is apparently a coffee lover’s paradise. Because we couldn’t do a coffee post without mentioning another one of our favorites found in Eureka Springs. Surprisingly, it wasn’t on the Main Street Coffee Trail list.
This place has multiple locations, including a cute little extraterrestrial-themed shack on 130 Huntsville Road in Eureka Springs, that’s a drive-through only. If you want to stay a while, their creekside location has indoor seating and serves breakfast and lunch. While you're perusing the out-of-this-world menu, check out “the Earthling,” a hot brew that contains a signature mushroom blend and cinnamon spice.
Airship Coffee in Coler Mountain Bike Preserve
If you’re willing to work for your coffee, this next coffee shop is only accessible by trail. Burn off the calories as you walk or bike about a mile to get to this nature-surrounded unique coffee spot in Bentonville, Arkansas, inside Coler Mountain Bike Preserve. This is an open-air cafe, so you can enjoy the scenery and fresh air while you sip on your beverage or grab a bite to eat.
The Coffee Container in Hiwasse, AR
Conveniently located off highway 72 just outside of Bentonville, Arkansas, is the cutest shipping container conversion that I’ve ever seen. A 20-foot container with a coat of bright turquoise paint served like a beacon calling to come get coffee.
Onyx Coffee Lab (Multiple Locations in NWA)
No list of coffee stops in the Ozarks would be complete without mentioning our local celebrity-status brewhouse. Onyx Coffee Lab–headquartered in Rogers, Arkansas, with fan favorite shops on the Bentonville Square, at The Momentary, and in downtown Fayetteville is a Northwest Arkansas coffee staple.
It’s also nationally acclaimed, sustainably sourced, curated for quality, and carefully roasted using solar-powered energy. In fact, serving coffee is almost the last thing that Onyx Coffee Lab does. The good news is that their delicious, sustainably-sourced fair-trade coffee beans are available via subscription to ship anywhere in the US!
The Wicked Bean in Centerton
Conveniently located off HWY-72 in front of the trendy 72-West boutique (11507 AR-72, Centerton, AR) is a personal favorite spot for the best coffee in the Ozarks, The Wicked Bean! Not only are their signature drinks and treats delicious, but the owner and staff are always positive, welcoming, and treat you like a friend. A few top recommendations on the menu include:
The Kraken: Blended flavors of sea salt caramel & toffee.
The Rusty Zombie: Coconut base with hazelnut and caramel.
The Crazy Ukrainian: White chocolate with Irish cream & Caramel.
Drip Coffee: Nothing about their house blend is ordinary!
It's an outdoor trailer with a cozy seating area outside. Sit on a swing and enjoy any of their 30+ creations. You can also grab a bite to eat with choices ranging from kolaches to muffins to scones and more. Grab a punch card (double punches on Wednesdays), because you'll definitely be back for more!
Lift Coffee Bar in Tahlequah, Oklahoma

Plus, they have some unique and tasty coffee drinks, including the Dirty Oats & Honey Chai Latte. Hungry, too? The food here includes delicious treats like the cinnamon roll waffle and pizza bagels.

Hurts Donut in Branson, Missouri
Next up, if you love donuts with your coffee, you’ve got to check out Hurts Donut while you’re in Branson, Missouri. Hilariously, they have an ambulance-themed delivery vehicle parked outside their doors. Here, you’ll find unique and tasty donuts, including:
Bacon-topped long johns

Fruity Pebbles donuts
Giant cinnamon rolls

Classic Rock Coffee in Springfield, Missouri
For great coffee with a totally different (but way cool) vibe, stop in at Classic Rock Coffee in Springfield, Missouri. Just as it sounds, Classic Rock Coffee gives up the traditional ‘coffee shop’ vibe in favor of a little rock and roll.
I found this gem on Yelp! And just couldn’t have said it better…
Grounded Coffee Co. in Billings, Missouri
If you're in the Springfield, Missouri area and looking for a great cup of coffee - we found it at Grounded Coffee Co. in Billings, Missouri. This small-town coffee shop is equal parts quality caffeine and cute coffeehouse vibes.
We stopped on our way to Springfield, Missouri, for a stop at the Bass Pro Shops and WOW Museum and Aquarium (an exceptional immersive experience that you should definitely make time for).
⭐I recommend the Honey Bean. It's got the perfect blend of honey, vanilla, and cinnamon. But just in case you're wondering, the drip coffee is pretty great too!
